A 15-minute negotiation between Donald Trump and Nicolás Maduro regarding the possible resignation of the Venezuelan president failed when Maduro demanded to hold onto $200 million, an amnesty for around 100 high-ranking officials, and a move to a friendly country in the Western Hemisphere.
