By 2030, We Should Have at Least 100,000 Electric Vehicles: Papoyan
This year, based on the proposal of the Ministry of Economy, the government adopted the Strategic Program for Green and Sustainable Economy, which stipulates that by 2030, there should be at least 100,000 electric vehicles. This was announced by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, during the discussion of the draft law on amending the Tax Code of the RA during its first reading.
“This is part of our strategic vision. I believe that we will definitely have this,” the minister stated.
According to him, the project proposed by the ministry was initially planned for 3 years, then reduced to 2 years, and finally became 1 year.
