During a press conference held in Yerevan, the head of the Center for Strategic Research in Security Policy, Arek Kochinyan, mentioned that Hikmet Hajiyev, an assistant to President Aliyev, requested to convey to the Armenian society that the war is over for Azerbaijan.
Kochinyan added, “The Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict has ended for Azerbaijan. They want to build peace and move towards peace from the current non-war situation. It is extremely important for them to establish comprehensive and long-term peace with Armenia, and they are ready to proceed along that path.”
It is noteworthy that on November 21, representatives of Armenian civil society visited Baku. The delegation included the honorary president of the Yerevan Press Club Boris Navasardyan, political scientists Arek Kochinyan, Narek Minasyan, Samvel Meliksetyan, and human rights defender Naira Sultanian.
Also, remember that a discussion took place in Yerevan on October 22 with the participation of representatives from the civil societies of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and this visit is a reciprocal one in the context of normalizing relations.
