New Progress in US-Armenia Partnership: US Embassy
The US Embassy has announced that it welcomes the statement from the American company Firebird, which operates in the field of artificial intelligence, regarding an initial investment of 500 million dollars in Armenia, planned in collaboration with Dell and NVIDIA. The announcement emphasizes that this step promotes the implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed at the Washington summit on August 8, regarding partnership in the areas of artificial intelligence and semiconductors, while also marking significant progress in the development of Armenian-American trade and investment relations.
It is worth mentioning that Firebird has received approval from the US government to export Nvidia chips to Armenia, which suggests the implementation of a project to create a supercomputer as part of a global initiative to expand artificial intelligence infrastructure.
