Yerevan's 'Red Bridge' Fully Renovated
A ceremonial event was held in Yerevan to mark the reopening of the city's historical monument, the Red Bridge. The ceremony was attended by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, as well as representatives from the government and the diplomatic corps.
The bridge is a structure from the 10th-13th centuries and is considered a national monument, located over the Hrazdan River. Notably, it is the oldest bridge preserved in Yerevan and is regarded as one of the largest engineering structures of medieval Armenia, standing 11 meters high, 80 meters long, and 6.5 meters wide.
