Turkey Sets Record High in Tourism Revenue
The Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, has revealed the revenue generated by the country's tourism sector. According to the minister, tourism revenues reached a record high during the first nine months of 2025.
It was noted that compared to the same period last year, revenues increased by 5.7%, reaching $50 billion. Ersoy added that Turkey aims to raise this figure to $64 billion.
During the same period, 50 million tourists visited the country. In the ranking of countries welcoming tourists, Turkey ranked 8th in 2017, while according to 2024 data, it has moved up to 4th place.
