Orban: Merkel Yelled at Me More Than My Wife
The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, stated that he has always respected former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, despite her occasionally raising her voice during their discussions. “I respected Angela Merkel. She even sometimes yelled at me more than my wife. It was not pleasant. But she is an open person, an intellectual,” Orban mentioned in the MD Meets podcast.
Orban explained that the former Chancellor, while steering Germany's policies, never attempted to use her position to coerce Hungary into accepting her viewpoints. According to him, Merkel preferred to listen to different opinions and engage in discussions.
