Hungary Challenges EU's Plan to Abandon Russian Gas
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has announced plans to take legal action against the European Court, opposing EU initiatives aimed at halting Russian gas imports by the end of 2027. According to him, Hungary remains heavily dependent on Russian energy resources.
Previously, Budapest had already vetoed several European sanctions initiatives related to the Federation's energy sector.
