Ex-Head of the State Revenue Committee’s Precautionary Measure Replaced
The court has replaced the precautionary measure for the former head of the State Revenue Committee, Vardan Harutyunyan, with two months of house arrest.
Recall that Harutyunyan was arrested on August 8. He has been charged with illegal participation in entrepreneurial activity, anti-competitive conduct, and money laundering.
It is noted that the investigations underlying the charges were conducted seven years ago and were dismissed. The case concerns the company 'Norfolk Consulting,' which was investigated in 2018, and the proceedings were terminated.
