Criminal Proceedings Initiated for Arson Related to Major Fire at 'Yerevan City'
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the fire that broke out at the 'Yerevan City' shopping center located on Komitas Avenue, under Article 264, Part 2, Item 2 of the Criminal Code (destruction or damage of property committed by arson, explosion, or other dangerous methods). This was reported by the Investigative Committee.
Within the framework of the criminal proceedings, a series of expert examinations have been appointed, including commodity, fire-technical, and forensic examinations. An investigation is currently underway.
It is worth noting that on November 6, at 11:08 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report about a fire that had broken out at one of the food outlets on Komitas Avenue in Yerevan.
