New US Sanctions Target North Korea, China, and Russia
The United States has imposed new sanctions aimed at Chinese and North Korean individuals and organizations, reports Reuters, citing the US Department of the Treasury.
The list of secondary sanctions includes eight individuals from North Korea, China, and Russia. Among those listed are the Korea Mangyongdae Computer Technology Corp. and North Korea's Ryujong Credit Bank.
With these secondary sanctions, the US penalizes entities that engage in prohibited transactions with countries or organizations already under sanctions.
