Henrikh Mkhitaryan Suffers Serious Injury
Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan of Italian club Inter has sustained an injury during the Serie A match against Napoli. The 36-year-old footballer felt pain in his left thigh muscle in the 32nd minute of the game and was substituted.
Medical examinations have revealed that the injury is serious. In the best-case scenario, Mkhitaryan could return to the pitch in a month, participating in the Champions League match against Atletico Madrid on November 26.
If a second-degree muscle strain is diagnosed, the Armenian player may be sidelined for approximately six weeks, potentially returning only in December. According to doctors, the recovery duration will depend on the dynamics of muscle healing.
Due to the injury, Mkhitaryan will miss several crucial matches, including the highly anticipated Milan derby against AC Milan on November 23, which is considered one of the most awaited games of the season.
