Erik Vardanian Hits Opponent, Pushes Referee, Shows Middle Finger to Fans
In the last match of the 12th round of the Armenian Premier League, Ararat hosted Pyunik at the V. Sargsyan Republican Stadium, securing a 4:2 comeback victory.
According to Armsort, Erik Vardanian received a red card in the 67th minute for hitting an opponent and clashing with referee Henrik Nalbandyan. As he was leaving the field, Vardanian gestured with his middle finger towards the Ararat supporters.
Following this incident, a scuffle broke out in the stands, which was quelled after police intervened.
