Significant Events Occurring During the Fake Trial in Baku
National Assembly's ‘Honor’ faction secretary Tigran Abrahamyan writes: ‘Significant events are taking place during the ongoing fake trial in Baku. During the previous hearings, Levon Mnatsakanyan, David Ishkhanyan, and David Babayan expressed their disagreement regarding several provisions contained in documents compiled based on statements taken from interviews, online resources, and social media.
It has been clear from the outset that Azerbaijan operates according to a pre-planned scenario and disposition. However, it is important that the Armenians held hostage there are resisting as much as possible and demonstrating the absurdity of the Azerbaijani accusations and the falsifications accompanying the so-called ‘trial.’ David Ishkhanyan even demanded from the court that the secret order supposedly assigned to the former commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, Kamo Vardanyan, be presented to them, as it has been read in court, yet there are no documents to substantiate its authenticity.
The indifference of the Armenian authorities to the proceedings of the fake trial in Baku has liberated Azerbaijan’s hands to freely fabricate and attribute a myriad of forgeries to numerous Armenian and Artsakh officials, military personnel, and devoted fighters of the national liberation struggle,’ he wrote.
