Human Rights Defender Joins Coronavirus Prevention Commission
The Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, wrote on his Facebook page: “I have spoken with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, regarding the prevention of coronavirus in Armenia. The Human Rights Defender's staff has also been included in the coronavirus prevention commission in Armenia. We discussed the current situation and how the Human Rights Defender's office can support the process.
Most importantly, we must not succumb to panic. This is critically important at this time. We must only follow official information and adhere to the virus prevention guidelines. Maximum measures will be implemented within the jurisdiction of the Human Rights Defender.”
