Round-the-Clock Work Continues in the Zangezur Corridor: 95% Completed, Azerbaijani Media Reports

Work in the Zangezur Corridor is continuing around the clock. Azerbaijani Xəzər TV reports that this project has been the focus of regional attention for five years.

“95% of the work on the Azerbaijani side of the project, which is considered one of the main transit hubs between the East and the West, has already been completed,” the report states.

The Zangezur Corridor holds strategic importance not only for Azerbaijan and its neighboring countries but also for a broader geographical region. This route will reduce transportation costs for cargo moving from east to west by shortening the length of the transit route. Therefore, long-term prospects have been considered during the implementation of the project,” the media highlights.
