Edmon Marukyan Sues the Government: 'Pats' Reports
Leader of the 'Bright Armenia' party, Edmon Marukyan, has filed a lawsuit against the Government of Armenia. This was reported by the daily newspaper 'Pats'.
The newspaper states that he is demanding the administrative court to annul the Government's decision from September 11, 2025, regarding the removal of the image of Mount Ararat from border stamps.
It is noted that the government has a decision to remove the silhouette of Mount Ararat from border stamps in passports. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan commented on the decision, stating, 'Now they speak about making a decision under Turkey's latest demand or threat. I have said that the factor of legitimacy is crucial in our security strategy.'
