US Intelligence to Require Employees to Take Polygraph Tests
In September, the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, released a memorandum directing intelligence agencies to explore the possibility of administering polygraph tests to their employees, reports the Washington Post.
According to the channel, the document emphasizes the need to include questions in the tests regarding whether employees or potential candidates have shared information with members of the press.
The newspaper, citing documents and informed sources, previously reported that the Pentagon is preparing to implement extensive monitoring measures for staff, including mandatory confidentiality agreements and random polygraph tests.
