Fire Breaks Out in the Basement of a Yerevan Hotel
A fire broke out today at 12:07 PM in the basement of one of the hotels located on Armenakyan Street in Yerevan, according to the National Crisis Management Center.
The information was confirmed by the rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Six firefighting units from the Yerevan rescue department were dispatched to the scene.
According to preliminary data, the fire ignited in the basement level.
The fire was contained at 12:36 PM and was extinguished by 12:53 PM.
Evacuation efforts for residents are currently underway.
