Lukashenko: We Were Thinking with Putin on How to Survive These Difficult Times
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, after talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, stated that the main topic of their discussion was joint decisions and steps to resolve the current situation, according to BelTA.
“We were thinking about how to survive in these difficult times,” said Lukashenko.
He emphasized that the global situation forces even large, resource-rich countries to think about their next steps, and in such conditions, small countries like Belarus need to work especially effectively.
“The world is divided; they are tearing it apart. This is mine, this is yours. And they are starting to suffocate us. They will not leave us alone. And I must convince you to work,” said Lukashenko during a working visit to the Shklov region.
