Erdogan Mocks Macron
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the United Nations headquarters. The meeting was closed to the press. Accompanying them were Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Director Ibrahim Kalin, and France's Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot.
Erdogan and Macron greeted each other and inquired about each other's well-being through a translator. Macron responded that he was feeling well. Following this, Erdogan, addressing the translator, remarked, “It turns out there are moments when he performs well,” referring to Macron.
It is also worth noting that after taking a photo together, Macron invited Erdogan for coffee.
