Dembélé Wins the Ballon d'Or
At the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, Ousmane Dembélé won the main prize at the 69th Ballon d'Or ceremony. The PSG and French national team winger claimed the prestigious award for the first time in his career, recognizing him as the best football player of the previous season.
Other nominees included Vitinha (PSG), Lamine Yamal, and Rafinha (both from Barcelona).
In 2021, Argentine forward Lionel Messi was the first to win the Ballon d'Or while playing for PSG.
It is worth noting that earlier reports mentioned a data leak, and journalist Pablo Giralt disclosed the name of the future Ballon d'Or winner.
