Berezovski Discusses Leaving the National Team Coaching Staff After Yeghishe Melikyan's Appointment
Roman Berezovski, the former goalkeeper and goalkeeper coach of the Armenia national team, has spoken about leaving the national team coaching staff following the appointment of Yeghishe Melikyan.
“At the end of July, discussions were circulating about a change in the head coach of the Armenian national team. This continued throughout the week when John left the team. After a while, Melikyan was appointed. A few days later, he called me and said that he had a goalkeeping coach in his staff with whom he had worked for a long time. After the call, I had already decided that it was unlikely I would remain in the national team coaching staff,” Berezovski said in an interview with Metaratings.ru.
It is worth noting that Berezovski has worked in the national team coaching staff for five years, from 2020 to 2025.
