Trump Will Not Impose Conditions on Russia and Ukraine, U.S. NATO Ambassador
U.S. President Donald Trump will not impose conditions for resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. This was stated by Matthew Whitaker, the U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO, during an appearance on Fox News.
“He will not impose those conditions. A peace agreement is only possible when both sides accept it,” Whitaker noted.
The diplomat also emphasized that the White House continues to seek opportunities for mediation while hoping to use leverage to bring the parties to the negotiating table.
