Avinyan Issues Strong Warning to Avet Babayan and Grants Him Leave
The Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, has issued a strong warning to Avet Babayan, the head of the Public Order Protection Service, and granted him leave. Previously, journalist Hakob Karapetyan reported that following a post on Facebook, Babayan had a conversation with him that was accompanied by insults.
According to Karapetyan, shortly afterward, he was subjected to violence by an unknown individual near his workplace. A criminal case has been initiated.
