Taekwondo World Champion Emin Chetinbag Arrested in Moscow

In Moscow, Taekwondo World Champion Emin Chetinbag has been arrested. Chetinbag was detained in connection with a fraud case as a member of a criminal group, according to TASS.

Several former police officers were also part of the group, as reported by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. According to investigators, since February, the group has been extorting large sums of money from citizens under the guise of 'operational activities,' threatening them with detention.

The victims have faced damages exceeding 4 million rubles. Five participants in the case have been arrested, while another has been declared wanted.
