Without Ukraine Renouncing NATO Membership, Conflict Will Not End: Fico
“Without Ukraine renouncing its NATO membership and territorial losses, the conflict with Russia will not end,” stated Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico.
“The first and foremost condition for the end of the conflict is the understanding that Ukraine cannot become a NATO member. During a war, everyone becomes a general, but I want to remind you that my refusal of Ukraine's NATO membership has already been clearly expressed in my first statements regarding the war in Ukraine, despite facing criticism for this position,” emphasized the Prime Minister of Slovakia.
