Putin Makes Proposal to Trump During Phone Call

Russia has proposed to elevate the level of leadership in negotiations with Ukraine. This was announced at a press conference by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

“After the phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump yesterday, President Vladimir Putin made a proposal not only to continue these negotiations but also to consider raising the level of delegation leadership. And this entirely aligns with our suggestion that a separate block should be allocated within this process for exploring the political, military, and humanitarian aspects of the settlement,” he said.
