At Least 1 Fine Issued: Deputy Mayor on Maintaining Order in Public Transport
The Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Suren Grigoryan, addressed the inspections conducted by the public order maintenance service in public transport. He noted that inspections have been carried out in buses over the past two weeks. “During the initial phase, certain programmatic shortcomings were identified, so no fines or penalties were issued. However, I have been informed that at least one fine has been imposed,” he stated, adding that the previously identified issues have been resolved and there are no obstacles now.
“If we are confident that there are no more technical issues, we must apply the appropriate administrative procedures,” announced Mayor Tigran Avinyan.
