Head of Tavush Registration and Investigation Department of Police Arrested Along with 14 Others
The Anti-Corruption Committee has confirmed that as a result of joint investigative and operational measures conducted with the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' internal security and anti-corruption unit, 15 individuals have been arrested, including the head of the Tavush region's registration and investigation department.
Marina Ohanyan, spokesperson for the Anti-Corruption Committee, informed Auroranews about the development.
“The criminal proceedings relate to cases of apparent criminal activities involving numerous citizens receiving driver’s licenses in exchange for bribes,” added the spokesperson.
