Aliyev on New Agreements with the USA

US-Azerbaijan bilateral relations are reaching a new level and transitioning to a strategic partnership format. This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in a press statement at the White House following negotiations with US President Donald Trump.

“We are opening a new chapter in bilateral intergovernmental relations between the United States and Azerbaijan. We are embarking on a path of strategic partnership. Everything necessary for our countries regarding strategic partnership will be prepared in the coming months,” Aliyev emphasized.

“Being in a strategic partnership format with the largest country in the world is a significant opportunity and simultaneously a huge responsibility,” Aliyev underscored.
