Former Shengavit District Head Released, Placed Under House Arrest
The court, presided over by Judge John Hayrapetyan, partially granted the Investigator's request regarding the extension of detention for Razmik Mkrtchyan, applying house arrest as a measure of restraint.
“The defense specifically emphasizes that the charges brought do not correspond to Mkrtchyan's actual actions. Soon, facts will be revealed in accordance with the law, which will uncover the true motives of the incident and the behavior of the interested party,” stated Razmik Mkrtchyan's lawyer, Hrant Dadoyan.
It is worth reminding that earlier it was reported that Razmik Mkrtchyan, the head of the Shengavit administrative district, announced the suspension of his powers.
