Ukraine Warns Russia: Next Attack Will Impact Europe
Ukraine has confirmed a nighttime attack by Russia on the country's gas infrastructure. This information was disseminated by the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy.
Ukrainian media reports that Russia has deliberately targeted a facility of the Ukrainian gas transmission system located in the Odesa region.
It is particularly emphasized that this facility is part of the route connecting Greece's liquefied gas terminals with Ukrainian gas storage facilities through the Trans-Balkan gas pipeline, which, among other things, supplies liquefied gas from the United States and Azerbaijani gas.
Reports indicate that the attack was carried out using drones.
Specialists have been brought to the scene to assess the extent of the damage.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Energy has warned that if Russia continues to attack energy facilities, the energy infrastructure of Europe could be at risk.
