The Regulatory Commission Responds to International Court's Decision on HETC

The Chairperson of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia is not authorized to evaluate the applicability of the security measures provided for in the act adopted on July 22, 2025, as a result of the arbitration dispute, considering that the procedure for recognizing and executing foreign arbitration decisions is established by Armenian legislation and international agreements. This was reported by the Regulatory Commission.

“Thus, any pertinent action by the Chairperson of the Public Services Regulatory Commission can only follow after ensuring the recognition and execution procedures of the mentioned act, in accordance with Armenian legislation,” the statement said.
