If He Appeared in Our Line of Sight, We Would Eliminate Him: Israeli Defense Minister
Israel intended to eliminate Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, but that opportunity did not materialize. This was announced by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz during an interview with Channel 13.
"We wanted to eliminate Khamenei, but there was no practical opportunity. If he were in our line of sight, we would eliminate him," said Katz.
When asked whether Israel sought approval from America for such an operation, Katz responded, "We do not need permission for these matters."
