Commander of Iran's IRGC Killed in Israeli Strike
The Iranian TASNIM News Agency has reported that Major General Hossein Salami, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was killed in an Israeli strike on Tehran on Friday.
“The IRGC commander was killed as a result of the strike carried out by the Zionist regime in the morning hours of June 13,” the report stated.
A spokesperson for the Israeli Defense Forces told The Times of Israel, “Dozens of aircraft from Iran’s Air Force completed the first phase, which included strikes on dozens of military targets, including nuclear facilities located in various parts of Iran,” the statement added.
It should be noted that the Israeli military conducted strikes on Iran during the night.
