According to the agency, the "Web" operation has resulted in approximately $7 billion in damages to the Russian strategic aviation. The service also reported that about 34% of the cruise missile carriers located at major Russian airports have come under fire.
The Ukrainian side has promised to release additional details about the special operation later. It is noted that on June 1, Ukraine launched drone strikes on military airfields across several Russian regions. According to "Ukrayinska Pravda," citing its sources, it was a large-scale special operation carried out by the Ukrainian Security Service. The newspaper reported that as a result of the attack, more than 40 aircraft were destroyed, including the A-50, Tu-95, and Tu-22 M3, with damages estimated at over $2 billion. The special operation is named "Web."
The Russian Ministry of Defense has stated that drone attacks were repelled at three of the five military airfields targeted.
