India Issues Statement on Ceasefire with Pakistan

The ceasefire between India and Pakistan has no deadline. This was reported by the Hindustan Times, referencing a statement from the Indian ground forces.

"As long as both parties refrain from hostile actions, there will be no deadline," the statement reads. On May 14, India and Pakistan extended the ceasefire until May 18.

On the night of May 10, Pakistan launched a military operation named 'Bunyan-um-Marsus' (Indomitable Wall) against India, claiming it was in response to attacks from New Delhi. Targets in Islamabad included air bases located in India's Jammu and Kashmir region, as well as missile sites in Punjab. On May 12, it was reported that Pakistan had completed this operation.
