Drones Used in Search Operations for Missing Two-Year-Old
Search efforts for a two-year-old child missing since May 4 in the village of Marmarik, Kotayk Province, are ongoing.
In a conversation with Armenpress, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, Narek Sargsyan, noted that 100 rescue workers are participating in the search and rescue operations, including water rescuers, canine experts, and volunteers (3 from the 'Amper' educational center and 5 from the 'Vayri' sports-public organization), along with police officers and local residents.
“Drones and a water rescue boat are being used during the search operations. The search efforts are currently continuing,” Sargsyan stated.
He mentioned that the alert about the child's disappearance was received on May 4 at 11:52 AM, and the search operations began immediately thereafter.
