Unknown Person Sets Fire to Residential Skyscraper in Seoul, Casualties Reported
An unknown individual has set fire to a 21-story residential building in the Bongchon-dong area of Seoul. The arson was carried out using a fire-throwing device, according to reports from the Yonhap news agency.
The fire broke out on April 21 at 08:17 AM, and fire services are currently engaging in firefighting efforts.
As a result of this emergency situation, three people have been reported dead, and there are also injuries.
Authorities have identified a suspect in the arson case and are actively searching for them. A photograph of the suspect has been released to the public.
“An ‘unknown device’ was used to ignite the fire, and it is currently being investigated whether it was incendiary,” Yonhap reports, citing law enforcement sources.
