UK Urges Ukraine to Be Prepared for Territorial Compromises

Ukraine must be ready for territorial compromises if it wishes to sign a peace agreement with Russia, stated Lord Richard Balfe, a member of the Conservative Party in the House of Lords in the UK, to RIA Novosti.

“I think the decision to declare a ceasefire during Easter should be viewed as a positive sign, as Orthodox and Catholic Easter fall on the same day. Now we must move towards a complete ceasefire, and that means Kyiv must be prepared for territorial and other concessions,” he noted.
