In Such Cases, Drivers Cannot Be Fined: Sargsyan
At this moment, in relation to driver's licenses, the issuance has been transferred from the police to serve as a public service under the ministry. This was announced in the National Assembly by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan.
“Just movement is not enough; we need to look at this issue substantively. It is no longer mandatory for drivers to have a driver's license since their identity is identified by patrol officers using a tablet, and the driver's license is confirmed. In this case, drivers cannot be fined,” Sargsyan stated.
