Simonyan on Possible Peace Between Armenia and Azerbaijan
On April 15, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia, Tanja Fajon.
Emphasizing the role of parliamentary diplomacy in the dynamic development of high-level political dialogue between Armenia and Slovenia, the interlocutors highlighted the importance of further deepening this relationship to give new momentum to bilateral ties.
During the meeting, they addressed the peace agreement project between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which has already been completed, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
The discussions also focused on the Armenia-EU agenda and the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia. Alen Simonyan drew Tanja Fajon's attention to the issue of Armenians detained in Azerbaijan.
