Chakhoyan Comments on Serzh Sargsyan's Statement

If the 2018 revolution was a power grab, as Serzh describes it, then the number one capitulator is Serzh himself, who has capitulated to his own people. This was stated by Taron Chakhoyan, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Armenia, on his social media page.

“Serzh Sargsyan, who describes the 2018 revolution as a power grab, is no different from Robert Kocharyan. For both, the idea that power in Armenia belongs to the people is alien, and only the people decide whom to give authority to and whom to take it from. The remote debate between Serzh and Kocharyan is merely a staged show to earn the ‘Sacred Cow’ title for the opposition and to deceitfully extract votes from citizens during elections,” he wrote.
