Azerbaijan Proposes Additional Preconditions: Hakob Arshakyan
The Vice President of the National Assembly, Hakob Arshakyan, met with the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Pia Kauma, during the 150th Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly in Tashkent, as reported by the National Assembly.
The two discussed issues related to peace and security in the region. Arshakyan emphasized that despite the conclusion of negotiations on a peace treaty, Azerbaijan is introducing additional preconditions, including the dissolution and cessation of the OSCE Minsk Group.
He noted that Azerbaijan is searching for artificial reasons to delay the signing of the treaty. Arshakyan highlighted that such actions by Azerbaijan raise doubts about its political will to finalize a peace agreement.
