The Central Electoral Commission has released a statement: 'On April 8, the Central Electoral Commission received a record from the Speaker of the National Assembly regarding the termination of the powers of National Assembly member Vilén Gabrielyan. During an extraordinary meeting on April 9, the Commission noted that the mandate of the member elected from the electoral list of the "Civil Contract" party, whose powers were prematurely terminated, has been granted to the next candidate in order from the party’s electoral list, Artyom Ghukasyan Mehrabyan.
Prior to this, the Commission declared the registration of the parliamentary candidate Arshak Gevorgi Ordukhanyan, included in the electoral list of the "Civil Contract" party, null and void, accepting the self-withdrawal and resignation application dated April 2, 2025, which had been notarized.'
