The European Union must undertake commitments to purchase energy resources from the United States, which will become a key direction in Washington's efforts to eliminate the trade deficit with the public. This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump.
“The trade deficit with the European Union stands at $350 billion, and it will quickly disappear. They will have to buy energy resources from us, as they need them,” the president added.
“The European Union treats us very poorly. They will be able to buy them, and we will be able to get rid of $350 billion in just a week,” he concluded.
