Protest in Front of Government Summer Residence
Under the initiative of the Council for the Protection of Rights of Armenians from Artsakh, mothers from Artsakh are staging a protest with their children near the government summer residence to voice the issues faced by forcibly displaced individuals from Artsakh. They demand dignified living conditions: “We want to show that we have no place to stay, these people must see that we have nowhere to go, that we are in a desperate situation and will be on the streets.”
It is noteworthy that yesterday there was a large rally in Yerevan’s Freedom Square in defense of the rights of the people of Artsakh.
The Council for the Protection of Rights of Armenians from Artsakh has announced that various protests are expected in the coming days.
