Azerbaijan is the one keeping those observers at the border: Simonyan
If Azerbaijan is so concerned about the EU civilian observers, then it is itself that keeps those observers at the border. This was stated by the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, during a conversation with journalists.
“From the moment it signs, our agreement will come into force,” he said. It is noteworthy that there is a provision in the peace agreement about excluding representatives of third countries from the border.
“If an attack occurs on Armenia even after signing the peace treaty, and it happens in the presence of European observers, what will be the difference?” he added.
