Defense Ministry Denies Azerbaijan's Misinformation

The statement from the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense claiming that on March 16 at approximately 09:45, the units of the RA Armed Forces opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the southeastern area of the border, does not correspond to reality. This information has been provided by the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

The RA Ministry of Defense reminds that the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia has proposed to establish a joint mechanism for investigating cases of ceasefire violations and/or related information between Armenia and Azerbaijan, to which Azerbaijan has yet to respond.
